The newly formed Friends of the Bob Jones Trail is a partnership between the SLO County Bicycle Coalition and the Land Conservancy.
Together we can accelerate the completion of this scenic path and complete the late Bob Jones’ vision of a City-to-Sea Trail for residents and visitors to enjoy. In addition to trail completion, Friends of the Bob Jones Trail aims to assist the City and County of San Luis Obispo with long-term trail maintenance and enhancement for future generations.
The goals of Friends of the Bob Jones Trail include:
Construct continuous Bob Jones City-to-Sea Trail in a timely and appealing fashion and in a way.
Partnership: identify, inform and involve stakeholders.
Enhance: provide amenities for trail users and preserve natural habitat.
Maintain trail and staging areas in beautiful, safe, appealing state.
