A connection between San Luis Obispo and Morro Bay has long been dreamed of, and now a call for official proposals for a feasibility study (and more) is here! Read more below and visit the SLOCOG website for further details.
SLOCOG is seeking proposals for a “Chorro Valley Trail Feasibility Study, Constraints Analysis, and Implementation Plan”. This project will evaluate and recommend alignments for the approximate 12 mile corridor between San Luis Obispo and Morro Bay, connecting to both Cal Poly and Cuesta College. The study is funded with Federal Scenic Byway Program grant funds.
Proposals are due on April 19th, a contract will go to the SLOCOG Board for approval on June 5th, 2013.
